Halloween is a time for costumes, candy, and community, and at Kids At Heart Preschool & Child Care Center, the spirit of the season is alive and well. For several years now, our kiddos have been visiting Greenfield Estates for a special Trick or Treat tradition that’s become a beloved part of our fall calendar.
This year was no different as children from our preschool donned their cutest and spookiest costumes and made their way to Greenfield Estates, a nearby assisted living facility. The excitement was palpable, and the children’s faces lit up with joy as they paraded through the halls, spreading Halloween cheer and receiving treats in return. The magic of this tradition goes beyond the candy and costumes; it’s about building connections between generations. Our preschoolers have always looked forward to this special outing, and it’s clear that the feeling is mutual among the residents. The experience is a unique way for our children to learn about kindness and empathy, while also enjoying the thrill of Halloween.
To our Kids At Heart Families: If you want to catch a glimpse of the fun and heartwarming moments from this year’s Trick or Treat event, be sure to check out our Facebook page. We’ve shared a delightful album filled with pictures that capture the joy and excitement of the day.
We’re grateful for the opportunity to continue this heartwarming tradition, and we look forward to more years of shared smiles, treats, and connections with our friends at Greenfield Estates. Happy Halloween!
